Overview

Fitte turns photographs of your own clothing into a styled, searchable wardrobe. To do that we process the photos you upload and the preferences you give us. We collect the minimum needed to run the product, we never sell your data, and you can export or delete everything at any time.

What we collect

  • Account data — your email address and authentication identifiers (via Supabase Auth, including Google sign-in if you choose it).
  • Photos — the garment photos and the full-body reference photo you upload.
  • Derived metadata — structured attributes our AI extracts from your photos (garment type, color, fabric, formality, and similar), plus the outfits and occasions you create.
  • Preferences — the profile details you provide, such as size, gender expression, colors to avoid, and modesty preference.
  • Product analytics — anonymous usage events and error reports (text and event data only — never your photos).

How we use your data

We use your photos and preferences solely to provide Fitte's features: cataloging garments, assembling and ranking outfits, and rendering outfits on your reference photo. We use anonymous analytics and error data to keep the service working and improve it, and advertising-measurement tools (such as the Meta Pixel) to understand how people discover Fitte and how our ads perform — limited to text and event data, never your photos. We do not sell your data, and we never share your photos for advertising.

Who we share it with

We rely on a small set of processors, each for a specific purpose:

  • Google (Gemini API) — receives your photos to extract garment metadata, pair outfits, and generate on-body visualizations. Images are sent for processing and are not used by us for any other purpose.
  • Supabase — hosts our database, authentication, and encrypted file storage.
  • Vercel — hosts and serves the application.
  • Meta (Facebook Pixel) — receives anonymous browsing events (such as page views) to measure and improve our advertising. It never receives your photos or wardrobe data.
  • Analytics & error tools — receive text and event data only, never your photos.

Storage & security

Photos are stored in private storage buckets and are reachable only through short-lived signed URLs scoped to your account. Database access is protected by per-user row-level security, so your records are isolated from other users at the database layer.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account we remove your database records and purge your stored photos. Deletion takes effect after a short grace period to protect against accidental removal.

To prevent abuse of our free credit allowance — for example, repeatedly deleting and recreating an account to claim it again — we retain a one-way cryptographic hash of the email address tied to a granted account, even after the account is deleted. This hash cannot be reversed to recover your email; it lets us recognise a returning address and holds no other personal information. We rely on our legitimate interest in preventing fraud and abuse to keep it.

Your rights

You can export a copy of your data (profile, wardrobe metadata, occasions, and outfits, with time-limited links to your images) and you can permanently delete your account and its data from Settings. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or restrict processing of your data; contact us to exercise them.

Children

Fitte is not directed to children and is intended for users 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, communicated to you directly.
